Tips and hints to help you.
Once a car reaches 3 years, it has by law to be MOT tested. Every year most cars need to be serviced (not all – as mileage plays a key role in this) But if you get your car serviced before it’s MOT then it has a very good chance of passing. Regular servicing is a must to keep your car fully fit for the road. You can always email us and we’ll get back with a reply within 24 hours. Call us or write with your problem and we’ll get back to you with the right answer. And remember it’s always worth a second opinion – we have saved lots of people lots of money when they have approached us after seeking help elsewhere, Remember not all garages are trustworthy. MOT Centre on-site
Please call or book online for your MOT. We have while-you-wait facilities in our office. And you can even shop in the High Street whilst your car undergoes its test. This normally takes 20 minutes. Once you have joined our happy group of customers’ we’ll remind you every year when your test is due.
Recovery card
Exactly what is says on the card – full recovery in the UK. Membership available to all. We’d prefer you to be a Charmrace Customer and then you could take advantage of all the benefits this card offers. But you don’t have to – you can join for recovery only.

Courtesy Car
How happy is this? We know what it’s like losing your car for the day, or longer – it’s a real pain. We supply a car to make life that little bit more bearable. Our courtesy cars are all the late models and come as automatic or manual, as you prefer. Just ask us to arrange one for you next time you come in for a pit-stop.
Exhaust & Brakes
We supply and fit the best graded exhaust and brakes for your vehicle. Full inspection on brakes and exhaust is available and it’s FREE. Insurance casualty? Old classic needing welding and rust problems? or just a makeover…? We can help from our state-of-the-art bodyshop. FREE INSPECTION service available – with a FREE report and quotation for your insurance company. We may even supply a courtesy car if your insurance company doesn’t cover you. We are fully authorised to carry out repairs and reports on vehicles with accident damage.
